Sharon Genicoff, a highly accomplished high school counselor in New Jersey, possesses invaluable expertise in guiding students through the complex college admissions process.

With a successful background as a Public Relations executive in Manhattan, Ms. Genicoff has catered to prestigious Fortune 500 companies and groundbreaking technology startups in Silicon Valley. This prior experience in marketing and public relations equips her with a remarkable advantage as a college counselor, allowing her to offer a distinctive approach that encourages students to shape their own brand as aspiring young professionals.

As the Co-Founder of Next Generation Consulting, Ms. Genicoff brings a wealth of experience and qualifications to her role. She graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Rhetorical Studies. Additionally, she holds a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Montclair State University and possesses a Certificate of College Counseling from the esteemed University of California, Los Angeles.

She lives in New Jersey with her husband, two young daughters, and two cats.

Genevieve M. Allard, JD is a high school teacher in New Jersey where she has been a driving force in molding students into professional young adults through mentorship and career preparation.

A former assistant prosecutor in Bergen County, Ms. Allard’s years of legal experience have afforded her an opportunity to guide students toward building the invaluable skills they need to succeed in college and career. She has perfected a curriculum that improves students’ rhetoric, reading, writing and critical thinking skills as well as workplace etiquette. As an educator, Ms. Allard’s greatest accomplishment is the development of a professional network that students can rely on to secure meaningful internships and post-secondary career placement. The professional network has proven to be successful as she consistently receives positive feedback from the lawyers, judges, congressman and business owners who hire her students and clients as interns and employees.

In addition to guiding students toward their career goals, she also leverages the skills in her program to advise students on the college process. Ms. Allard removes the stress of writing the often intimidating college essay, providing an individualized experience for the student. The task of writing an authentic essay for the college application process can be daunting to a young person, but Ms. Allard has proven techniques and strategies to help college applicants master the process and create an essay that will help them stand out from the pile.

Ms. Allard is the Co-Founder of Next Generation Consulting. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Villanova University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Seton Hall University Law School. She has been an active member of the Villanova University Scholarship Committee and Villanova Alumni Association. 

Jenna Howard is a school counselor in New Jersey and enjoys working with students and their families throughout the college admissions process.  Ms. Howard has had an opportunity to work in various school environments and understands the rigor and stress of a high school student.  She enjoys working individually with her students to help them create a post secondary plan.

Ms. Howard is dedicated to working closely with students through out the entire college admission process.  She enjoys building relationships and collaborating on career and college exploration while also helping complete applications and essay writing. 

Ms. Howard graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and holds a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Montclair State University. She has also complete a certificate from the University of California in College Counseling.

Becky Teel is a high school counselor in New Jersey and has had the opportunity to work in both local private and public schools in the area. Committed to helping students navigate the college admission process, Ms. Teel assists students in tapping into their full potential for college and life beyond. As a long-time high school counselor, Ms. Teel has developed a meaningful rapport with college admissions representatives and is highly knowledgeable of all steps in the college admissions process. 

Ms. Teel deeply values the relationships she establishes with her students. She recognizes that this could be an overwhelming time in a student’s life, and she strives to make the college exploration/application process manageable for all–giving clear, organized, and timely guidance as students embark on this journey. Ms. Teel is very excited to be helping students prepare for postsecondary success through her work at Next Generation Consulting!

David Bailey is currently a school principal in New Jersey. Before his current role, Mr. Bailey spent fourteen years as a school counselor, coach, and director of guidance in Bergen County where he helped hundreds of students and families with the college admission process.

Mr. started his career in special education after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Penn State University. He went on to receive two master’s degrees from Montclair State University in school counseling and educational leadership. 

Mr. Bailey is passionate about building strong relationships with his students so that he can help them navigate this important time in their life when they are transitioning from high school to college. Mr. Bailey’s goal is to help simplify what can be an overwhelming process for students by focusing students on controlling what they can control and finding the best fit school for them. Mr. Bailey strongly believes that finding a college where the student feels valued, supported and happy will ultimately lead to the most successful college experience. 

Mr. Bailey is there for his students and their families every step of the way to help guide them to their next stop along the journey. Mr. Bailey lives in West Milford with his wife, Sara, and their three children, Ava, Brody, and Joshua.

Erica Martino is an experienced educator with over a decade of teaching and mentoring students in English. A former Advanced Placement English teacher, Ms. Martino specializes in guiding students through the college application process, helping them craft compelling personal essays and supplements. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Journalism and Media Studies and a master’s degree in K-12 English Education, both from Rutgers University.

Ms. Martino takes great pride in building strong connections with her students, seeing these relationships as the foundation for impactful collaboration. She enjoys watching her students grow, succeed, and achieve their goals. Passionate about empowering students to tell their unique stories, she strives to make the college application process clear, organized, and fulfilling. Ms. Martino is excited to help students reach their full potential and prepare for bright futures through her work at Next Generation Consulting!

Christine Salerno has been dedicated to supporting students for over 25 years, with a distinguished career as a school counselor and educator. She currently serves as the Interim Director of Guidance for a high school in Bergen County.  She has extensive experience working with students in public and private high schools. Ms. Salerno began her career in education as a special education teacher, fostering a deep understanding of diverse student needs.

Ms. Salerno earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Marist College, a Master’s degree in School Counseling from William Paterson University, and a Master’s degree in School Administration from Seton Hall University. Her academic and professional journey has equipped her with the expertise to guide students through critical transitions, especially in the college admissions process. Over the years, she has developed meaningful relationships with college admissions representatives and gained an in-depth understanding of every step in the application journey.

Known for her compassionate and student-centered approach, Ms. Salerno values the relationships she builds with her students above all else. She recognizes that the college exploration and application process can be overwhelming and is committed to making it manageable providing clear, organized, and timely guidance. Her goal is to help students find the best-fit school where they will feel valued, supported, and happy, leading to a successful college experience.

As a proud mother of two college students, Ms. Salerno brings professional expertise and personal insight into her work. She is excited to support students in preparing for postsecondary success through her role at Next Generation Consulting. She is passionate about empowering students during this pivotal time, helping them take control of the process, and setting them up for a bright and successful future.
